Lahore Police Complaint Cell Resolves Public Grievances Efficiently

The Lahore Police Complaint Cell has been actively working to address public grievances, with a total of 3,936 complaints received so far this year. Out of these, 2,865 complaints have been successfully resolved, while 793 applications are still pending.

According to a Lahore police spokesperson, a significant number of complaints were received in person, totaling 2,141. Of these, 1,439 complaints have been addressed, and 497 actions have been initiated to provide relief to the complainants. Additionally, 1,779 complaints were received via postal mail, out of which 1,398 have been resolved, with 281 actions currently in progress.

Capital City Police Officer Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, underscored the importance of ensuring timely justice and relief to those in need. He emphasized the crucial role played by the Lahore police in addressing the issues faced by common citizens through the complaint cell.

To facilitate the public further, a dedicated helpline (1242) has been established by the CCPO office for swift resolution of complaints. Citizens are encouraged to report their grievances without hesitation, as immediate action will be taken to address their concerns and provide continuous relief.
