Mayor Arslan Sheikh of Sukkur emphasizes the need for cleanliness, security, and facilities around mosques and Eidgahs for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations. The Sukkur Municipal Corporation is instructed to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for worshippers and the public.

Mayor Sukkur, Barrister Arslan Sheikh, has urged officials to implement significant measures for municipal services and security around mosques and Eidgahs in preparation for Eid-ul-Fitr. During a meeting addressing Eid-ul-Fitr arrangements, Mayor Arslan emphasized that the Sukkur Municipal Corporation (SMC) must ensure cleanliness in the vicinity of all religious sites. He specifically instructed for proper water supply, sewage management, and the covering of all manholes. Municipal Officers will oversee activities such as limestone powder sprinkling and cleaning at locations designated for congregational Eid prayers.

Special attention was given to the removal of garbage from the main Eidgahs and the provision of necessary facilities for worshippers attending Eid prayers. Mayor Arslan reiterated his commitment to prioritizing the well-being of the community by ensuring that all possible amenities are made available to the public.
