The Capital Development Authority in Islamabad, led by Minister Mohsin Naqvi, successfully cleansed the city post-Eid-ul-Azha, disposing of tons of waste and ensuring high cleanliness standards for public health and well-being.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad embarked on a mission to maintain cleanliness in the city following Eid-ul-Azha, under the guidance of Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi. The initiative aimed to dispose of waste generated during the festive period, focusing on offals and entrails from sacrificial animals. On the second day of Eid, CDA officials successfully eliminated 45,688 offals and 757.767 tons of waste using efficient methods.
Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the efforts of CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and the entire team for their dedication to preserving a clean environment for the residents of Islamabad. The chairman reported a total removal of 2507.676 tons of garbage during the operation, along with the swift resolution of 45 cleanliness-related complaints. The sanitation teams conducted extensive patrols in various city areas, including green belts, open spaces, drains, and forests, to ensure high cleanliness standards were maintained.
The proactive measures taken by the CDA underscore their commitment to providing a hygienic and pleasant environment for the citizens of Islamabad, reflecting a strong emphasis on public health and well-being.
