The Water and Sanitation Services Company in DI Khan spearheads a cleanliness campaign for Eidul Azha, with special waste management arrangements. District Police Officer recognizes police officials for maintaining law and order.

The Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) in DI Khan has taken proactive steps to ensure a clean environment for the upcoming Eidul Azha festival. Led by key officials including Deputy Commissioner and CEO Mansoor Arshad Khattak, the WSSC has initiated a comprehensive cleanliness campaign. The drive is being supervised by Superintendent Choudhary Atta Ullah, Chief Sanitary Inspector Javed Iqbal, and Supervisor Abdur Rehman Khan Saddozai.

Assistant Commissioner Faseeh Ishaq Abbasi, in collaboration with WSSC staff, recently inspected the ongoing cleanliness efforts to ensure proper waste disposal during Eidul Azha. The campaign underscores the significance of collective action in maintaining cleanliness during the festive season. Citizens are encouraged to cooperate with designated staff and dispose of waste at specified locations.

WSSC has made special arrangements for solid waste management, ensuring staff availability throughout the Eid days to promptly handle animal waste disposal and uphold city cleanliness standards. The cleanliness plan includes the swift collection, transportation, and disposal of animal waste during the festival days. The city has been divided into sectors, with each sector assigned specific sanitary inspectors and supervisors for efficient waste management.

An awareness campaign has been launched to educate the public on proper waste disposal practices. Special dumping sites have been prepared on the city outskirts to reduce environmental hazards and pollution risks. A Complaint Center will be operational throughout Eid to address residents' concerns promptly.

In a separate event, District Police Officer Nasir Mehmood awarded cash prizes and certificates of appreciation to police officials for their exceptional performance in maintaining law and order. The police officers were praised for their dedication to public safety, focusing on crime prevention and community well-being. The district police reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding lives and properties, with a strong emphasis on efficiently addressing public concerns to uphold lasting peace in the region.

The WSSC's cleanliness campaign and the recognition of police officials highlight the community's collective efforts towards a cleaner and safer environment during Eidul Azha.
