The Commissioner of Larkana Division enforces strict measures for proper disposal of animal waste during Eid ul Azha to maintain cleanliness and public health.

The Commissioner of Larkana Division, Ghulam Mustafa Phul, has taken a significant step to ensure cleanliness and hygiene during the upcoming Eid ul Azha holidays. In a recent notification, he emphasized the proper disposal of animal waste to maintain a clean environment in the region.

According to the directive, all sacrificial animal waste must be disposed of at designated locations provided by the local administration. It is strictly prohibited to throw or bury animal waste along roads, streets, or cities in Larkana division. This decision was made following a meeting chaired by the provincial minister to address the issue of waste management during the festive season.

To enforce this ban effectively, the district administration, local bodies, municipal corporations, and committees will be implementing Section 144 from June 17 to June 20. This means that any slaughtering, burying, or dumping of garbage on roads, paths, streets, and public areas will face strict penalties as per the authorities' directives.

In case of non-compliance, the Station House Officers (SHOs) have been granted the authority to take action under Section 144 CrPC 1898 upon receiving a written request. Assistant Commissioners, Municipal Commissioners, City Municipal Committees (CMCs), and Tehsil Municipal Officers (TMOs) in Larkana division have been tasked with ensuring the strict implementation of these directives to maintain cleanliness and public health.

The initiative taken by the Commissioner of Larkana Division to regulate the disposal of animal waste during Eid ul Azha reflects a commitment to environmental sustainability and public health. By adhering to these guidelines, residents can contribute to a cleaner and healthier community for everyone to enjoy.
