Dr. Usman Anwar, the Inspector General of Police Punjab, continues to prioritize merit and seniority in promoting deserving police officials. Recently, 80 officials were promoted in Bahawalpur and Sheikhupura regions, highlighting the department's commitment to recognizing and rewarding hardworking officers for enhancing law enforcement efficiency.

The Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, continues to prioritize merit and seniority in the promotion of police officials. Recently, 80 deserving officials were promoted to higher ranks following promotion board meetings held in Sheikhupura and Bahawalpur regions under the direction of IG Punjab.

In Bahawalpur region, 50 officials were promoted, while 30 officials in Sheikhupura region received promotions. The promotions included fourteen ASIs being elevated to sub-inspectors, eleven head constables promoted to ASIs, and twenty-five constables advancing to head constables in Bahawalpur region. Similarly, eighteen ASIs were promoted to Sub-Inspectors and twelve Head Constables to ASIs in the Promotion Board chaired by RPO Sheikhupura Athar Ismail.

During Ramazan, over 700 officials across different ranks have been promoted, bringing the total number of promotions under IG Punjab's leadership to approximately 21,000. Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to continue serving the citizens diligently.
