Lahore Police Bust Drug Trafficking Gang

Authorities in Lahore have recently made a significant breakthrough in the fight against drug trafficking. A joint effort by the police, led by DIG Investigation Lahore Imran Kishwar, SSP Furqan Bilal, and Aftab Phularwan, resulted in the apprehension of a 21-member gang involved in smuggling drugs through unsuspecting food supply and courier companies.

During a press conference, the police officials disclosed that the gang had been utilizing popular services like foodpanda to distribute drugs across the city. Shockingly, the operation also led to the arrest of several foreign nationals who were part of this illicit network.

According to Imran Kishwar, the suspects had been targeting educational institutions and upscale neighborhoods in Lahore for their drug supply operations. The police have launched a comprehensive operation to track down and apprehend other individuals associated with this criminal network.

Drug trafficking has been a persistent issue in Pakistan, with criminal organizations constantly adapting their methods to evade law enforcement. The use of legitimate businesses as fronts for illegal activities poses a serious challenge for authorities tasked with maintaining public safety and security.
