Recently, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has made significant strides in combating drug trafficking in Pakistan. Through a series of nine operations, the ANF was able to seize a total of 97 kg of drugs and apprehend 10 individuals involved in drug-related activities.

One of the operations conducted at Islamabad Airport resulted in the confiscation of 2.7 kg of hashish from a passenger bound for Abu Dhabi. At Karachi Airport, authorities intercepted a passenger and a facilitator carrying 23,580 intoxicated tablets, as well as another individual attempting to smuggle 2 kg of Ice to Doha. In a separate incident at the same airport, 868 grams of heroin were seized from a passenger en route to Thailand, while a substantial 67 kg of heroin was discovered along RCD Road in Hub.

Further operations led to the arrest of two women on M-1 Motorway in Islamabad, where 4 kg of Ice was found in their possession. Near Sangjani Toll Plaza in Islamabad, two women were apprehended with 2 kg of hashish and 1 kg of opium. Additionally, in Kuchlak, Quetta, two suspects were caught with 2 kg of Ice.

Following these operations, the arrested individuals have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are ongoing to uncover any potential links to larger drug trafficking networks.
