Deputy Commissioner Zaheer Anwar Jappa ensures effective waste disposal arrangements for Eid al-Adha, emphasizing cleanliness, sanitation, and collaborative efforts between authorities and citizens.

Deputy Commissioner Zaheer Anwar Jappa recently undertook inspections across various areas of the city to guarantee the smooth disposal of sacrificial animals during the festive occasion of Eid al-Adha. His visits included locations such as Stadium Road, Model Town C Road, Shahdra, Railway Road, and Gulberg Road, where he interacted with residents to stress the significance of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.

During his inspections, Deputy Commissioner Jappa also took the time to appreciate the dedicated efforts of the Bahawalpur Waste Management Company (BWMC) team, comprising officers, staff, and sanitary workers, for their effective management of sacrificial animal waste. He made a special visit to the BWMC camp situated on Women University Road to oversee the waste disposal operations firsthand.

Furthermore, Deputy Commissioner Jappa meticulously examined the Control Room at the BWMC office and issued directives to the staff to promptly address any grievances raised by the citizens. Naeem Akhtar, the Chief Executive Officer of BWMC, was also present during the inspection, underscoring the critical importance of timely waste disposal practices during the festive period of Eid-ul-Azha.
