RWMC's exceptional cleanliness efforts during Eid Ul Azha in Rawalpindi, led by Saqib Rafique, received high praise.

During the recent Eid Ul Azha celebrations, the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) received high praise for its effective cleanliness efforts in the district. Chairman of the District Coordination Committee (DCC), Engineer Qamar Ul Islam Raja, lauded the RWMC for its dedication and hard work in maintaining cleanliness during the festive period.

Under the leadership of Chairman RWMC Saqib Rafique, the company successfully removed a remarkable 3,995 tons of animal waste from the district. This achievement was made possible through the coordinated efforts of 3,832 sanitary workers and 485 vehicles, who worked tirelessly to ensure cleanliness, even in challenging weather conditions.

On the first day of Eid, RWMC managed to clear 3,290 tons of waste and promptly addressed 569 complaints from the public. The team's thorough cleaning efforts included the application of lime powder for sanitation purposes at all collection points and areas.

Engineer Qamar Ul Islam Raja, accompanied by key officials, conducted inspections at the Sixth Road and Waris Khan transfer stations to oversee operations. Commissioner Rawalpindi Aamir Khattak stressed the importance of timely waste transfer and the swift resolution of public complaints, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy towards negligence.

The commendable efforts of RWMC, under the guidance of dedicated leaders like Saqib Rafique and the support of government officials, have significantly contributed to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in Rawalpindi during Eid Ul Azha. Such initiatives not only enhance the quality of life for residents but also promote a healthier and more sustainable environment for all.
