Saudi Authorities Crack Down on Water System Violators and Drug Smugglers

In a recent crackdown by the Al-Jouf branch of the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, three excavators were apprehended for violating the water system in Tubarjal. The violators were caught during field tours conducted by the water department in collaboration with local authorities.

Meanwhile, in Addayer, Jazan region, seven Ethiopians were arrested for attempting to smuggle 105 kg of hashish. Legal actions have been taken against the offenders, who were then handed over to the appropriate authorities along with the confiscated drugs.

Additionally, border guard patrols in Al-Harth, Jazan, successfully thwarted an illegal drug smuggling attempt, seizing 71 kg of hashish. The authorities have completed initial legal procedures and transferred the seized drugs to the competent authority.
