Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) took strict action against illegal gas usage in Multan, imposing fines on nine citizens totaling Rs 38,000. The crackdown was a result of the Task Force's efforts to curb unauthorized gas activities in the region.
The individuals were found guilty of using gas illegally for commercial purposes, providing unauthorized connections, and engaging in gas theft. SNGPL officials emphasized the importance of cooperation from the public in reporting such activities by calling 0619220085, ensuring confidentiality of informants.
Regional Manager Hussain Zafar highlighted the establishment of a dedicated cell to address complaints promptly. Trained officers have been assigned to the cell to ensure swift resolution of reported incidents.
